Soon after the publication of "To Train Up a Child" the Pearls began receiving far more mail than they could answer. So they started a newsletter called "No Greater Joy" to answer the most often asked questions. Receiving continual requests for back issues of the newsletter, the Pearls decided to reprint in book form the child training articles from the first two years. These articles add to the foundation already laid in "To Train Up a Child," coving new terrain and clarifying previously mentioned topics.

I loved this book. I read it as a followup on To Train Up A Child and thought this 3 part series of books most helpful. I have such happy, obedient children! Our home is such a blessing and full of laughter and happiness. People are ALWAYS commenting on how well-behaved our children are. Thanks to the Pearls for their biblical teaching. Sadly, what they teach now used to be a normal way of life for most people. It's easy to see the results from straying from these teachings. Look at how wicked, perverse, selfish, and sinful our society is. If everyone would just get back to the Bible in how they raise their children, our world would be a much better place. Thank you No Greater Joy ministries!

This is first rate instruction for raising happy, well adjusted children. The Pearl children, and grandchildren are living proof, and their joyful testimonies in the Pearl materials are indisputable evidence of the this reality: there is "No Greater Joy" than raising Godly children His way!

No Greater Joy, Volume One is a great book for those who have read To Train up a Child and still have questions about some of the Pearl's methods. Mike and Debi did a good job clearing up some of the misconceptions that arose from TTUAC.

About 15 years ago, a friend introduced me to "No Greater Joy" and Mike and Debi Pearl's books. I had 3 young children and God has used Mike and Debi time and time again to work in my life, as He would shape and mold me to accept the whole Word of God. As for my children? I now have 5 treasures aged 19-9. They would tell you how their mom has changed and our home went from chaos to peace and from discord to joy. I have come to truly love my husband and children, enjoy them, treasure them and since I was able to train them at a young age, we are able to serve together instead of having to "deal with teenage things". I praise God often for Mike and Debi Pearl.

I love all of the Pearl's book! I highly recommend it for everyone! It will change you, which will change your children. However, if you have a tendency to take things out of context-please watch the videos instead. If you can hear his voice you can really see/hear that he is not a monster that some will claim he is. They are deceived.
