Product Description
She's The New Girl In Town

Genevieve Slate never thought she'd return to small-town life. But she never expected that the man she loved would reject her, either. Now living in quaint Lane's End, Ohio, Gen's starting over. Her job at the local police station is perfect, and she's ready for her first case. What she isn't prepared for is the instant chemistry she feels when she meets math teacher Cary Hudson.

While getting to know new people—especially cute men— is on Gen's to-do list, between the basketball fever that's gripped Lane's End and a vandal who's not making Gen's job any easier, who has time for romance?

Besides, Cary's healing from a broken heart, too, so there's no way he'd be interested in anything more than friendship. Or would he...?

Shelley Galloway has written another heart-warming story in A Small-Town Girl.

Genevieve Slate has left the comfort and security of her old job and town. Her unreturned love for her former partner had her itching for a new start. She takes a job as a small town cop in Lands End Ohio. Her first meeting with the local High School math teacher Cary Hudson affects her in ways her old partner never did.

Cary Hudson doesn't know what to make of this by the book newcomer. He is still reeling from his last relationship but there is something about Gen that makes him want to take a chance on love.

Gen's first case involves Cary's niece and getting to the bottom of the vandalism puts them together more then she was prepared to face. It takes some time for the both of them to put aside the past and risk it all.

A Small-Town Girl is a delightful book. Shelley Galloway really can make you feel like you know the people and the town. Looking forward to her next book.
